It has also received contributions from the Consejo Nacional de Investigaciones Cient\u00edficas y T\u00e9cnicas of Argentina (2002-2007), from the Fondation Canadienne pour l\u2019innovation through ACFAS (2004), from AAAS (2004) and from the SBPC. Along its uninterrupted existence the journal has also received important support from the Organization of American States (OAS), the United Nations Organization for Education, Culture and Science Organization (UNESCO) the Third World Academy of Sciences (TWAS), the Andrew Melon, Tinker y MacArthur Foundations (USA), Fundaci\u00f3n Polar (Venezuela), the Canadian International Development Agency (ACDI) and the Interamerican Development Bank (IDB).
